2014: University of Economics, Prague, Czech Republic, Faculty of Finance and Accounting, Graduate studies, earned the title "Docent";

2004: University of Economics, Prague, Czech Republic, Faculty of Business Administration, Graduate studies, earned the title "Ph.D.";

1998: PIBS, Manchester Metropolitan University, Graduate studies, earned the title "MBA";

1992: Czech Technical University, Prague, Czech Republic, Faculty of Civil Engineering, Earned the title "Ing." (Master of Science).

Experience

2014-Present: Deputy Chairman (formerly member) of the Governmental Research, Development, and Innovation Council;

2004-Present: Member of the Scientific Council, Dean (formerly Department Director, Assistant Professor) at the University of Finance and Administration;

2001-2019: Chairman (formerly Deputy Chairman) of the Board of Directors of the Association of Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises and Crafts of the Czech Republic;

1990-2019: Member of numerous governing bodies in the business sector, Chief Executive Officer (formerly Chief Sales Officer) and Managing Director of SINDAT (Sindat Group);

1990-2019: Member of numerous Czech and European institutions and platforms supporting small and medium enterprises and tradespersons, Vice-President of UEAPME – European Association of Small and Medium Enterprises and Tradespersons, author of several SME-related books and dozens of articles reviewed in international magazines, founder of a number of business and research centers.
